Geese Relief for Schools

When schools are in session, it is common for students and teachers to walk outside on the grounds, sometimes hold classes outdoors and enjoy lunch and breaks on grassy lawns. However, if Canada geese have made your school grounds their home, you won't have much fun walking in the much created by their copious droppings. Most schools have ample lawns and these are very attractive locations for these grazing birds. If your school grounds have been taken over by Canada geese, contact Geese Relief today.

If your school is at the elementary level, you may also have a problem with geese lunging at small children. Though these birds are not known for aggressive or violent behavior, they will protect their turf and a small child can be traumatized if attacked and pecked by several geese. Avoid these problems by using our highly trained goose dog Border Collies. Intelligent, persistent and determined, our dogs give geese the impression that a natural predator is lurking and this is often enough to keep the birds away for good.

Using chemical repellents and landscape re-designs won't guarantee the geese will stay away. They may leave for a week or two but, rest assured, they will be back. However, once geese detect a predator in the area they flee for self-preservation and make a mental note to avoid that area. Our dogs are trained not to harm the geese in any way and use their wolf-like stare and tireless stalking to keep geese moving until they are off your school grounds for good.

Solving Goose Problems

There are several options for ridding your property of Canadian geese including chemical sprays and landscape redesign, but the most effective method is to use highly trained Border Collies known asgoose dogs. These intelligent animals are taught not to harm the birds, but rather to use their cunning and intense stare to convince the geese that a predator is lurking nearby. Geese are concerned with survival and will not congregate where a Border Collie is patrolling. Even better, when geese seek refuge in the water, the dogs are very adept at swimming and won't rest until the last goose has fled.
